With rising health care costs individual health plans sometimes make more sense then cobra, or even self insuring (no insurance). We recomend the following providers of individual health plans.

LifeWise Health Plan of Washington (PPO)
LifeWise offers mutilple plans, with one sure to fit your individual health needs. More than 16,000 doctors, hospitals and other healthcare providers. LifeWise is a Premera Blue Cross company.

Assurant Health of Washington (PPO)
Assurant offers the most variety of plans of the other carriers, in fact most scenarios I run through them come up with 37 different plan types. I find this to be really beneficial as one can better formulate the perfect plan for the specific individual.

Group Health (HMO and POS)
Group Health also offers multiple plans, with one sure to fit your individual health needs.

Premera Blue Cross (PPO)
Premera Blue Cross individual plans. These plans in my opinion are way over priced for what they are, and that you can get better plans by there parent company LifeWise. But for those people that want to pay for the brand name, here you go.
